Marvel fans have been curious about Tom Hiddleston’s personal life and whether he shares any similarities with his on-screen character, Loki. Many have been wondering if Hiddleston has such a thirst for love as Loki does for power.

It’s safe to say that Mr Charming has found love since he is now engaged to Zawe Ashton. The couple made their first red-carpet public appearance at March 2022 the British Academy Film Awards. Hiddleston and Ashton have already brought a beautiful baby into the world. Although they haven’t officially tied the knot, their love has blossomed into a precious little bundle of joy.

Even though the English actor tried hard to keep his dating life private, it was the talk of the town with a never-ending list of rumoured partners. However, only two relationships before his engagement are confirmed; Taylor Swift and Susannah Fielding.

At the beginning of his career, Hiddleston was in a relationship that lasted the longest with his then-co-star Susannah Fielding, and they dated from 2008 to early 2012. There was a juicy rumour circulating that the two lovebirds had exchanged vows in secret, but in a January 2012 interview with the Independent, Hiddleston put an end to the story.

In a stunning portrayal, Hiddleston masterfully peels away the layers of his character’s icy exterior to reveal a troubled soul who struggles to confront his own demons and unleashes his frustrations on poor Hester.

Hank Williams—I Saw the Light (2015)

I Saw the Light is a captivating biographical drama that delves into the early life and meteoric rise of country music icon Hank Williams. It’s absolutely fascinating to know that Hiddleston himself is the one behind the mic, belting out those tunes. The actor made sure his vocal cords were in top-notch condition by giving an incredible performance at the Wheatland Music Festival just before shooting for the movie began.

The film kicks off with Hank’s wedding to the gorgeous Audrey Williams (played by Elizabeth Olsen) and takes us on a journey as he rises from a radio crooner to a renowned sensation at the iconic Grand Ole Opry.

The movie delves into the raw and emotional journey of a young country music legend, showcasing the immense pain, challenges, and addictions he faced. Despite these obstacles, he managed to create some of the most unforgettable country music ever. However, his life was tragically cut short at the young age of 29.

Edith Cushing, an aspiring author, finds herself caught in a whirlwind romance with a mysterious stranger, Thomas Sharpe, after a devastating family tragedy. Little did she know, her cunning sister-in-law, Lucille Sharpe (played by Jessica Chastain), was yet to be reckoned with.

Hiddleston’s impersonation of Thomas Sharpe, a wealthy English baronet, is fascinating as it taps into the audience’s familiarity with his acting repertoire. His portrayal of Thomas’ eagerness (or perhaps over-eagerness) to win over Edith is truly remarkable, as he also manages to convey the character’s underlying suspicious motivations. He draws you in with his charming portrayal of a devoted husband, but his convincing performance as a gaslighting character in this genre will blow your mind.
