YouTube Movies – The Fanatic (2019)

This thriller/mystery starring John Travolta follows the story of Moose (John Travolta), an obsessed fan stalking his favourite actor, Hunter Dunbar. When Moose fails to meet his favourite action hero, he seeks help from a photographer who may know the address of this actor. Moose later starts to stalk the actor, and the story takes a dark turn when Moose finally gets to Dunbar’s house. The movie is directed by Fred Durst, and the cast includes Devon Sawa (Hunter Dunbar), Ana Golja (Leah), Jacob Grodnik (Todd), James Paxton (Slim), and Jessica Uberuaga (Brenda).

Ophelia (2018)

Directed by Claire McCarthy, this drama/romance stars Daisy Ridley as Ophelia. The movie is based on Lisa Klein’s novel and tells the story of Hamlet from Ophelia’s point of view. Ophelia was a little girl without a mother; she was rebellious, and Queen Gertrude took her into the castle of Elsinore as one of her “most trusted ladies-in-waiting.” Between love and war, we follow Ophelia and Hamlet in their journey. Among the cast are George MacKay (Hamlet), Clive Owen (Claudius), Naomi Watts (Mechtild), Tom Felton (Laertes), Daisy Head (Christina), and Mia Quiney (young Ophelia).  

Wedding Planner (2001)

Starring Jennifer Lopez and directed by Adam Shankman comes this dreamy romance/comedy. It all starts when Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez), a successful wedding planner, crosses roads with who she believes is her true love. However, as time goes by, she finds out that this handsome man is her client’s fiance and that the wedding she is planning is his. We have Matthew McConaughey (Steve Edison), Justin Chambers (Massimo), Bridgette Wilson (Francine ‘Fran’), and Judy Greer (Penny).

Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds (2012)

Starred, directed, and produced by Tyler Perry comes this great romance/comedy movie! The star plays the role of Wesley Deeds, a wealthy businessman who knows how to get things done! The successful businessman has always done what is expected of him and never gone bad! However, his whole life changes when he meets a single mother who became homeless after she got evicted. Wesley takes it on his shoulder to help the woman, and on the way, he starts catching feelings for her while he is engaged! The Rebound (2009)

That is another fun-to-watch romance/comedy! This movie, for Catherine Zeta-Jones and Justin Bartha, follows the journey of Sandy (Catherine Zeta-Jones), who falls in love with Aram (Justin Bartha), who is younger than her and works as her children’s nanny. They started dating after she left her husband for cheating on her, so does that make him a rebound or true love? Let’s find out!

Warm Bodies (2013)

This romance/comedy is a post-apocalyptic love story between R, the zombie, and Julie, the human being. Their struggling love is dying to be saved as the war between zombies and humans is at its worst. The movie is directed by Jonathan Levine, with an amazing cast that includes Nicholas Hoult ( R ), Teresa Palmer (Julie), John Malkovich (General Grigio), Dave Franco (Perry Kelvin), Lio Tipton (Nora), Rob Corddry (M), and Cory Hardrict (Kevin).

Transcendence (2014)

This 2014 sci-fi/thriller stars Johnny Depp as Dr. Will Caster, the brilliant AI scientist who conducts controversial experiments that make him a target for extremists. However, as they succeed in killing his body, his consciousness remains alive, as his wife connects him to a quantum computer in an attempt to save “him.” Events escalate, and Will’s consciousness becomes a weapon threatening humanity. Or is it the computer? 

Love, Rosie (2014)

To all the romance/comedy/drama lovers out there, this one is for you! Love, Rosie is a 2014 movie directed by Christian Ditter and stars Lily Collins (Rosie Dunne) and Sam Claflin (Alex Stewart). The plot follows childhood best friends Rosie and Alex as they grow up, and feelings other than friendship grow with them. This movie is absolutely amazing and full of deep inspirational quotes as a bonus! 

Lonely Hearts (2006)

This thriller/drama, starring John Travolta, Salma Hayek, and Jared Leto, is a 1940 murderers hunt! The story follows the true story of the “Lonely Hearts Killers” that took place in the 1940s. The killer couple here are Martha Beck and Raymond Fernandez, and two detectives are after them. The movie is directed by Todd Robinson, and among the cast are Laura Dern, Scott Caan, and James Gandolfini.  

The Age of Adaline (2015)

It is a romance/comedy starring Blake Lively. It is a movie you don’t want to miss. Adaline Boman (Blake Lively) is a beautiful 29-year-old woman who had an accident that made her stuck at that age for another eight decades! This miracle, however, turned her life upside down and obliged her to keep her distance between herself and anybody she meets, but will it be the same if she meets her true love? The movie is directed by Lee Toland Krieger, and the cast includes top stars, such as Harrison Ford, Michiel Huisman, Ellen Burstyn, and Kathy Baker.

Before We Go (2014)

Chris Evans is the star of this romance/drama movie with Alice Eve. It follows two strangers as they get stuck in Manhattan for one night together and start realizing that maybe they were meant to be together. The movie is directed by Chris Evans and made $483,938 at the box office.

Leap Year (2010)

Directed by Anand Tucker, this rom-com movie stars Amy Adams. Adams here is a woman who follows her boyfriend to Dublin, Ireland, to propose to him on the leap day. Will she do that, or will she face unexpected challenges?

A Little Chaos (2014)

This 2014 British romance/drama stars Kate Winslet and Matthias Schoenaerts. The events take place in the 17th century in France when King Louis decided to hire two architects to design his Garden. However, the chief architect (Matthias Schoenaerts) hires (Kate Winslet) as a designer, and that is when the romance begins.

Charming (2018)

This 3D comedy/musical is directed by Ross Venokur and shares the tale of Prince Charming, who must find his true love before he loses love forever. Stars of the movie are the voices of Wilmer Valderrama (Prince Charming), Demi Lovato (Lenore), Ashley Tisdale (Cinderella), Sia (Half-Oracle), Avril Lavigne (Snow White), G.E.M. (Sleeping Beauty), and Jim Cummings (King Charming).

Blackway (2015)

Based on Castle Freeman Jr.’s novel, Go with Me, comes this thriller for Anthony Hopkins. When an ex-cop called Blackway stalks and attacks a young woman, she seeks the help of two men, an ex-logger and a young man called Nate, to help her get her revenge. The movie is directed by Daniel Alfredson and stars Anthony Hopkins (Lester), Julia Stiles (Lillian), Ray Liotta (Blackway), and Alexander Ludwig (Nate).

Vampire Dog (2012)

A 12-year-old boy, Ace, adopts a dog that turns out to be a 600-year-old talking vampire dog called Fang! Fang and Ace become really close when they experience an adventure that makes them face their fears. The movie is directed by Geoff Anderson and stars Collin MacKechnie (Ace), Norm Macdonald (Vampire Dog), Amy Matysio (Dr. Warhol), Julia Sarah Stone (Skylar), Jodi Sadowsky (Suzan), Ron Pederson (Frank), and Kimberly Elek (Jenny).

Christmas Magic (2011)

Carrie has a fatal car accident that kills her body but leaves her soul on Earth! In order to receive her heavenly wings, she has to help a widower (Scott) and his daughter (Abby). This 2016 comedy revolves around a married couple, Dr. Olive Greene and Clay Lonnergan, with deeply rooted problems, that their only way out is by getting a divorce. However, when they finally get there, a new problem finds its way to them when they fight over the custody of their dog, Wesley. The movie stars Olivia Silverstone (Olive Greene), Rayan Kwanten (Clay Lonergan), and Randall Batinkoff (Glen Hannon).
