This lovely beach has golden sand, and the water is incredibly clean. The water is just the right depth for swimming and canoeing.



Pat Cohan’s Pub

Driving into town, the first Quiet Man movie site you will see is this white building. This location was a supermarket before the movie made it famous, and after that, it was converted into a gift shop. For the first time in 60 years, movie fans were able to sit down and drink a pint where John Wayne had previously done in 2006 after the building underwent a change of ownership and reopened exactly as it had in the film.



The Cottage

This tiny cottage by the river, which is now a tourist shop and museum, has undergone extensive remodeling to accurately replicate the Cottage from the movie.
